Prints

Richard Foster’s landscape etchings and drypoints are inspired by the northern landscape. Rather than obviously scenic subjects, Richard focuses on the everyday places where we walk the dog or take a run. Trees bent by the northern weather are a constant inspiration, and because he works only in black and white, the play of light on natural forms is at the heart of Richard’s work.
